Calling all Plymouth dogs!
Is your dog something special?
Imagine your dog…
…published in a book!
Katie Carmickle Photography is selecting a total of 24 unique dogs to be featured in an incredible limited-edition coffee table book, Downtown Dogs of Plymouth.
During their custom photo session, each dog will be captured in stunning portraits that highlight their personality and charm. Many participants choose to turn these images into framed wall art or custom-designed albums, creating beautiful keepsakes to enjoy at home for years to come.
In addition to celebrating your dog, this project also gives back: $50 from every book sold will be donated to the Friends of the Plymouth Center for Active Living, supporting programs for the local senior community.
Space is limited—don’t miss this unique opportunity to create beautiful custom portraits of your dog and showcase your amazing canine companion!

What’s “the Friends of the Plymouth Center for Active Living”?
The Friends of the Plymouth CAL is a nonprofit 501c3 organization that raises funds to support vibrant, inclusive programs for older adults—promoting independence through community connection, wellness, and lifelong learning. It is a cause that is near and dear to my heart and greatly benefits the aging community in Plymouth.
Tell me about the cover contest.
The cover contest, held in August, is an incredible fundraiser for the Friends of the CAL. All book participants are eligible, and all net proceeds from the contest go directly to the nonprofit. It’s a great way to get the community involved while supporting this project!
Will I get to keep the photos?
All participants will have an ordering appointment where you will have the opportunity to purchase portraits from your session. Many participants fall in love with their images and choose to invest in framed wall art or custom-designed albums to enjoy at home.
Portraits begin at $400, and purchased printed products include their matching digital files.
No additional purchase is required to participate in the book project.
